High Converting Lead Magnet Ideas To Generate More Leads

We both know that leads are so precious for your business. Because without leads you have no chance of getting any sales. I’m going to share a strategy with you that will change all that. This strategy will work for your opt-in form that’s on your website and any capture page that you are using for your traffic.
Lead Magnet – Now For A Little Persuasion
I want to talk to you about creating a lead magnet. A lead magnet is something that you will give away for free when someone signs up to your email list.
I’m just going to come out and say it. You can think of a lead magnet as an ethical bribe. You’re saying. If you give me your information I will give you this (your lead magnet).
That sounds like a bribe to me. Doesn’t it to you?
When you’re thinking about what type of lead magnets you want to give away. There are a few things to keep in mind.
Lead Magnet – Has To Jive With Your Product
First and foremost make sure that the lead magnet has good content. You want the person to get value from your lead magnet. I’m going to explain more about this a little later on in this article.
You also want to have a lead magnet that is congruent with your product. make sure the lead magnet matches or complements your product. You could create your lead magnet around your product. For example, just give a little bit of information away about your product. You want the tease them just a little bit. Now what you’re doing. You’re using your lead magnet to warm them up.
For my lead magnet, I will create them myself. This may take a little longer to do. But I like the fact that I have complete control over the information and the value that someone will receive from it.
These don’t have to be anything too big or complicated. A lead magnet is usually something digital so that you don’t have to worry about shipping. Another nice thing about a digital lead magnet is they receive it immediately.
There’s another purpose for the lead magnet. Not only do you acquire more leads, but people will enter their best email addresses. When I use a lead magnet. I get fewer bogus emails with this strategy. I will remind them that their lead magnet will be sent to them using the email address they enter on the form. Just mentioning this seems to do the trick.
Okay, now that we got that all out of the way. You know all about the lead magnets. You’re probably thinking, what type of lead magnets work best? Well, I’m glad you asked. You and I are going to get into that right now.
Lead Magnet – Video Series
A video series has so many benefits that it will help you. Yes, that’s right I’m talking about you, not your prospect. You can create a short video series which is sometimes called a boot camp. just give the Bootcamp an official name. something like Lamar’s traffic Bootcamp.
You can use this video series to Brand yourself and at the same time, You’re creating authority in your space. This also gives you a chance to share and connect a product that you have. mention a problem that your lead may have. Then lead the prospect down a path to your product.
See I told you it’s about you and how you make out as well as you lead. This is what I call a win-win scenario.
Okay now for the downside...
People’s attention spans are very, very short.
Most people don’t want to sit there and watch a video that’s 20 minutes long. Unless you have tons and tons of value and content throughout the whole video. If you do create your videos keep them to around five minutes long. The other thing is I would only add 3 to 5 videos in your boot camp. I believe doing more videos on that is going to be too many for most people.
Lead Magnet – Downloadable PDFs
This is something I use quite a bit. For some reason people love PDFs. I’m not sure what it is. but people can’t get enough of them. I guess it may have to do with some sense of ownership. You can download it to your computer and even print it out if you want to.
If you’re going to do this. Here’s something to keep in mind. Don’t get long-winded. Keep your PDF two around 5 to 7 pages. It’s just like the video series. People have short attention spans.
You want to make sure that the PDF only solves one particular thing. Don’t give them the whole pie. Just give them one tiny piece of it. Give them the piece that will solve their immediate problem.
Now that you and I got familiar with the different types of lead magnets that you can offer. I want to show you how to create a PDF from existing content.
That’s right, you heard me. Did you think you had to create these PDFs starting from scratch?
You can, of course, do it that way there’s nothing wrong with that at all. Imagine using a blog post that you put your Blood Sweat and Tears into. Not to mention your time.
How would you like to be able to use an existing blog post? This includes links and images too. I found one of the best ways to create my lead magnets. Simply by using existing content that I have already done.
When you use your content to create your lead magnets. You don’t have to pay for someone else’s PDF. The nice thing about this is you have complete control over the content. You can add your personality to it. What about adding your branding colors and your images? This is a fantastic way to warm up leads coming into your business.
The other thing that is great about creating your lead magnets. You can add links to the PDF that take them directly to your service or product.

It was the biggest thing to help me when creating my lead magnets. Start with one. Keep it small. Then when you feel you got the hang of it. You can either enhance or fix the current one or come up with a completely different one.
